LITTLE EATER‘S APPLE-AND CHEVRE TOAST WITH HONEY, PECANS AND THYME
Makes 4 servings
4 slices of ciabatta bread
1 package of soft goat cheese
1 Fuji apple
¼ cup toasted pecans
1 teaspoon fresh thyme
1/8 teaspoon sea salt
Toast bread until golden and crispy on the outside and just lightly toasted (still slightly soft) on the inside.
Evenly spread a layer of soft goat cheese over the toast.
Thinly shave sweet apple slices with a mandoline or chef‘s knife. Fan them over the cheese, completely covering the toast. Drizzle with your favorite raw honey and sprinkle with chopped toasted pecans, fresh thyme and flaky sea salt.
